About the Teacher:
Ustaadha Sumaiya graduated from the Aalimiyyah program at Quwwatul Islam in London, with a passion in Islamic scholarship. Alongside religious studies, holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature with Creative Writing and a PGCE in Secondary English.
After completing the Aalimiyyah program, Ustaadha began teaching in various madrasahs, focusing on Quran and Islamic Studies for young children. Driven by a commitment to empowering girls and women through religious education, with a firm belief that a strong understanding of faith is essential for both personal and communal growth.
Currently revisiting Aalimiyyah studies to delve deeper into advanced texts, particularly in the areas of Fiqh and Tafsir, with the aim of specialization in these fields. Passionate about continuous learning and inspiring others in Islamic jurisprudence and Quranic exegesis.
